You can contact the Best Buy customer care team and they will help you with the update or you can also, contact the Dell's customer care team after you purchase the system to have the storage upgraded. If, you upgrade the storage on your own, the warranty will be void on the laptop.

This is 1K cheaper than custom building the same thing on dells website. Once you set up our computer. Open support assist (dell app) and you can select the tab that states upgrade. This will show you the available parts for upgrade and the proper drives that will work.
