I really don't know maximum wattage it handles, but I believe it can be used in Africa but if so (please be sure to read instructions) only and only for small appliances. Head tiers, phones tablets, etc
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using this only in Greece I cannot say positively that it will work in Kenya. The instructions tell which port to use in which country or area. Plus, gives the wattage for that area just to help with a decision. Totally happy with this purchase.

From what I've gathered, Kenya uses plug type G so this adapter/converter will not work. The maximum wattage for use with just the adapter is 275W max. at 100-120V, 575W max. at 220-240V. The wattage range for the adapter/converter is 26 - 1875 watts.
