Does this work as just a computer keyboard null

It does, but there are a few things different about it: ~ The mechanical nature of the keys gives them a very crisp feel, but they 'click' is louder than normal. ~ The default mode for the back-lights is rather psychedelic, and getting them to a 'regular' mode takes some fooling around. I love this keyboard despite these things.

Yes! However, after long period of inactivity, it seems to stop working and I have to reboot.
