We installed 2 similar flip-down overhead players in the second and third rows of a 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan. They do partially obstruct the view of the rear view mirror with the screens down, especially the third row unit. Options to consider would be to offset the units so that they are slightly angled to the side or to go with headrest DVD players (that either attach to the headrest or are integrated).
