I had this same issue. Not every time, but pretty frequently, it would take more than 30 seconds to get up and running. I made an appointment to have it looked at and what they found was that when the car starts, occasionally, the boot sequence of the unit is interrupted and it takes time for it to startup again. The solution was to wire the system to something in the car that stays powered up while the car engine turns over. It’s just a quirk of the ILX-107, and ever since they made this adjustment, mine starts up very time. Take it back to Geek Squad and have them take a look. I may not have used all the proper terminology, but hopefully you get the gist. It was a very annoying issue and to pay so much for something and have it not work properly is unacceptable. Good luck and hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds like you have an issue. My Alpine starts up immediately, and it only takes a second at most for the backup camera to come on once the vehicle is put in reverse. Should be a very quick process!
