“The picture and item description indicate this is a USB to USB C cable but the item specifications say one itis USB C to lightening. Which is correct? The obvious answer is USB to USB C but obvious isn’t always correct.”

It is usb to usb type-c only. The confusion may have came from the description of the (light up led) design features. It also boasts “rapid charging” capabilities.
