“Im pairing with a M1 MacBook Air. The problem is that it will pair up for a second, then lose the connection. Or get a Bluetooth connection but won't be recognized as a Sound output device. What should I try?”

Your device may be different but in my iPhone, I go into the Bluetooth settings, choose my device, then choose the type of device it is. Won’t work unless I’m connected to the speaker though.
