If the photo is taken in the vertical position the image will display black borders on the side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can choose (crop or fit to screen). It shows a single image, with blurred borders based on the photo currently displaying. (FYI: There is a bad batch of these frames, it seems. I spent a bunch of time trying to get mine set up...no dice. After a call to tech support [U.S.-based tech support], I was told to exchange it. Did so with no hassles, thanks to Best Buy. New frame was set up and working in 15 minutes and has been running for nearly a month with zero problems. Moral of the story: If following the quick start guide gets you nowhere, you probably have a defective device. Return it, and you'll be glad you did--this is a great device.)
