Not sure about both due to potential latency since each speaker may handle the Bluetooth differently. You could get phasing. But to any one of those devices then yes this unit will work. Frankly, if your iPhone has BT built in then you should be able to send directly from the iPhone to the speakers. But if you use the Aluratek you directly connect the iPhone to the Aluratek in RX mode, then send the audio via BT. But if you BT from the iPhone to the Aluratek then you have to directly connect the Aluratek to the speakers. You cannot send audio from one device via RX mode, and then still want that device to transmit (TX mode) audio to the speakers. That will not work.
