If your laptop has an audio (headphone) jack you can use this to connect wireless earbuds via Bluetooth. Most newer laptops have intrinsic Bluetooth capability and would not require a separate transmitter like this, but if your laptop is older, this will bridge the gap.

I got you Aluratek's Customer Service Number (1.866.580.1978) so you can call and ask your questions directly to them. I do want to mention these transmitters are awesome, they work great. My wife loves them because now I can watch something in the next room and not have to worry about how loud the sound is. They hook up real easy to to my blue tooth ear pods. I charge them about every other night.............. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
