If your laptop has an audio (headphone) jack you can use this to connect wireless earbuds via Bluetooth. Most newer laptops have intrinsic Bluetooth capability and would not require a separate transmitter like this, but if your laptop is older, this will bridge the gap.

If your laptop has an audio plug, and your earbuds are bluetooth, yes.

If your earbuds are blutooth wireless.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question because the two Aluratek Transmitters I purchased are being using use on my Sharp & Vizo flat screen TVs. I got you Aluratek's Customer Service Number (1.866.580.1978) so you can call and ask your questions directly to them. I do want to mention these transmitters are awesome, they work great. My wife loves them because now I can watch something in the next room and not have to worry about how loud the sound is. They hook up real easy to to my blue tooth ear pods. I charge them about every other night.............. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
