The Aluratek ABT01F can be reset easily: Press and hold the power button. While holding the power button, connect the ABT01F to the charging cord.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to Aluratek customer service, which I just called about my own device with the same symptom, the solid blue and red light together means this device has to be reset, but that is not possible. They told me I have to return mine to replace it with a different model (ABC01F) which is resettable but costs 138% more than this one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can confirm. You can reset it by holding the power button and plugging in the charging cable. Much obliged, Jose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. I was also considering returning it and giving it another shot with a different one. I didn't end up returning it. I let it run out of "juice" by disconnecting it and letting it sit there (it took a long long time). After, I plugged it in, set my head phones (skull candy hush 3) to pair mode, then pressing and holding the transmitter on for 3 second until the light started blinking blue and red, then, they paired in their own. This is what I had thought I did the first time around, but I guess I screwed up somehow because this time it worked as advertised in the instructions. I hope this would help anyone else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has happened to me several times and through trial and error, It can be reset. This is also on how you reset the transmitter back to factory settings. Once this procedure is done, you will need to repair you Bluetooth device to the transmitter. To fix this problem follow these steps: 1. Unplug the power to your Bluetooth transmitter 2. Now, hold or push in the "on/off" button on the transmitter down (do not let it go) 3. Re-plug the power to the transmitter, while still holding the power button on it down 4. Once plugged back in so that power is applied, let go of the transmitter power button and this should take care of your issue Note: You may have to do this 2-3 times. But typically, it should reset the 1st time if you follow these steps. Good Luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to hold down the little button on the side of the unit for a few seconds. Then the light will blink red and go out completely. That means it is off.
