• Are both devices fully charged? Maybe that has something to do with it. However, I would not consider buying this bluetooth adapter again. I bought it to connect to my stereo receiver to listen to music. The quality is horrible. It sounds like the music is coming out of a tunnel. I've used several devices, my cellphone, my computer and my tablet. The sound is horrible.

• The volume levels are extremely low so I thought it didn’t work then cranked the volume up and it was working. About 4 times lower than normal. I am connected via Denon amp to my Beats studio3 headphones.
