I've wanted to do the same thing. As far as I can tell though, you would need a pair of these for each application or set of amplified speakers. They do transmit both left and right channels and come with an RCA splitter adapter from 1/8" male stereo. BTW, the 30' range line of sight limit is the real limit, they won't go more than than.
