“If I plug this device into my audio output on my TV will it cut the sound off of the TV speakers and only be heard by the Bluetooth device I am wearing I guess what I’m asking is if I have wireless headset can my wife hear sound from TV speakers”

Once Bluetooth is on there will be no sound other than the Bluetooth device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will depend on the TV that you have. Some TV will cutoff the speaker if it detects a connection at the headset port. If you are using RCA output or optical output on the TV, you should still able to have sound thru the TV speaker but you will need to check the settings of your TV as well as most will require you to change a setting in the menu.
