I'm not sure about hearing aids but it connects directly to my bluetooth headphones.

Please try again later.On my older type bluetooth equipment I must pair it each time that I turn it back on which is very simple just by pressing a button quickly two times. I never turn off the bluetooth adapter. My newer bluetooth equipment has no problem hooking up without doing a thing. Hard question to answer. You would just need to try it. I am happy with my overall purchase of this unit. It performs well. Hope that this helps. Until you try it just will not be able to answer that question fully. Best Buy does have an easy return policy if it doesn't work. Just make sure that you keep packaging and stick it back in just like you got it out in f it doesn't function like you want.
