The + and - buttons on this device can be used for volume or change station/channel but this depends on the mode you are in. If you are in Bluetooth Receive mode (RX) then the volume should work. In TX mode for transmit they will not do anything. This is the case with all Bluetooth transmitters, no matter who makes them. When transmitting the units only send what they get from point A to point B.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I use this device as a receiver on my speaker system with my computer as the source of audio, the volume adjusting buttons work. The buttons need to be pressed repeatedly rather than pressed and held down. I see the adjustment on my computer screen as well as hear the difference on the speakers. The buttons do not adjust the volume when I use this device as a transmitter at my radio so I can listen with Bluetooth earphones.
