“I am trying to transmit ABC01F from my pc output to a Yamaha RXV-483. It will not pair. The recvr does pair with an Apple Phone, which has Bluetooth turned off. The receiver display reads <Decoder Off> in Bluetooth mode. Will it xmit to another room?”

Yes. Mine did but it is Bluetooth that is a radio signal so it has all the problems of a short distance radio wave in an building with interference.
