• You can as long as you have an optical connection on the TV. I use use optical and tv sound setting so I can connect to my speakers and I can still control the tv's volume at the same time.

• Yes, just make sure to use volume control on your remote to increase volume so spouse can hear also

• We have had some success pairing with hearing aids. Generally, you can hear audio through both the speakers and your headphone/earbuds, however, it depends on your specific TV model. You may need to change some settings within the TV's menu system.
