I dont know why it isnt working. I have I unit to my old tv with antenna to rf in and rf out to the antenna in of my analog tv and it works. I also have one with the a/v to my tv and it works fine so I dont know what the problem you are having. As I said in my review its not a great unit but I have not any problems setting it up.
