• The box allows you to record via flash drive. Some TV’s allow you to record via flash drive but not all do.

• You can backup your recorded programs on a computer. This helps because it lets you clear out the HBPVR folder for more recordings while you save other until you wish to watch them. With some I have been able to watch them on a computer but mostly you need the box.
