Yes you can. After recording, You can plug thumb drive into computer to erase or remove recordings and then record again on the same thumb drive .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You need to format the USB thumb drive after inserting into the tv box. Tap menu on the remote, tab over to USB and follow the directions. The box can record about 4GB of data before you need to remove some programming to make room for more recordings. You can move files off the thumb drive to a computer for later watching if you wish.
