“I have a Sony KDL-40S2010 tv. I have also a MOHU HD antenna. If I connect the antenna to the digital converter and connect the box to the tv via an HDMI cable, will that work. Connecting the antenna directly to the tv via coax doesn't work. Thanks.”

If "Connecting the antenna directly to the tv via coax doesn't work", that sounds like it could be one of three things. 1. Bad antenna. 2. Bad coax cable. 3. Bad RF input on the TV. (Sometimes lightning storms can burn up the RF input devices). As to your question, the answer is Yes. You should made sure you have a good HDMI cable and your Sony HDMI port (on tv) is good.
