“Will this device be able to accept an rf signal from an old rf out only system and convert the rf to hdmi out to the hdmi tv? Have many rf output only systems work and do this? Thanks for any help on this.”

My tv did not have a cable connection, this device was able to connect to my tv to provide cable connection. And connects to my tv though an hdmi connection. So if you have an rf Connection that converts to a cable connector, then this product should work for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TV Converter Box is mainly designed for an Antenna to connect to the RF-in. However, it may work to use another RF-out device to the RF-in of the box. As long as the signal is Over The Air channels then it should be ok. The unit can only handle OTA signals.
