When I bought it device It fully charged in less than 45minutes.i have since then played it for 3hours straight and still have yet to change it again.ive been trying to kill the battery to see how long it lasts but mine hasn't died yet.

Yes, you can charge while using. It advertised a 10 hour charge which I would be suspect of. You do need an available USB port to charge…it only comes with the cord.
