Good question. Yes, most bluetooth devices will have some latency. At 15 feet the delay will likely not be more than 1 second, mostly likely .5 of a second. But that could be enough to cause issues. Bluetooth is great for just listening to music but in some cases, like professional audio work with DAWs and MIDI instructions or mics it can be difficult. If you get the unit, try it out and return if it's not going to work for you.
