I recently bought this unit and was not able to get it to function correctly. Conversations with the manufacturer's technical people did not help and I returned the unit to Best Buy. I then purchased another unit from Best Buy that works very well. That unit was the Mee Audio connect hub ($99). It allows the pairing of two headsets at the same time and has several other functions including a volume control. It is also quite easy to install and use. I would highly recommend you do the same and you won't regret it. Mee also makes a lower cost unit ($59) that I purchased for my bedroom TV that does not have as many functions but also works very well.
