“I have a linkswell system generation 4 in my jeep. It does have Apple CarPlay. Linkswell sells one of these, but I was wondering if this would work just as well?”

Update! It does in-fact work perfectly! The thing that is confusing about their answer is they are saying… “if your car has CarPlay it will work.” The fact of the matter is “cars” don’t have CarPlay, stereo decks/head units have CarPlay ….just to put a fine point on it.

If the car stereo needs to grab the app icon and and functionality from a direct USB connection to the phone then it will mostly likely not work.
