“How do these compare to the Sennheiser RS 165 RF? Can anyone give me some input? I wear hearing aids and need to be able to turn up TV volume so the wife can hear also. I am looking for the best over all sounding for TV? Music should be good on both.”

These work over hearing aids but you may not need the aids. The headphones can be turned up pretty loud independent of the TV sound. The sound level control is physically on the headphones themselves. The sound is really clear and bright through the headphones as they block out most of the background noise also.
