“Does the headset have a mute button for muting the microphone?”

• As a clarifier for anyone who is considering this headset, per the manual this is possible. In practice, I have never been able to get it to work without hanging up. So, I would say that it is NOT possible. And yes - I am the one who asked the question.

• Yes, the headset has the ability to mute the microphone.

• Not exactly; the mute function is activated/deactivated by pressing the MFB (power control with LED) and the playback control dial (Play/Pause) at the same time.
