Please try again later.no soldering necessary. there is a water line kit you can buy that taps off the cold water supply from the kitchen sink and its not the saddle type but a valve you add onto the shut off valve under the sink. Then you just have to run the line over to the frig and hook it up. All pressure fittings so just insert the PVC water line 1/4" into he pressure fitting and your done. Very easy to install. Otherwise its plug and play.
