“It took 2 and 1/2 hours to do my first dish Wah load? Why it is so long? I select ,normal cycle, heat dry. Any other selection will reduce the time? I will try quick wash next time to see how long it will take.”

I would consider checking water pressure. Also check filter located in bottom of the inside of washer.
