how long is the power cord and what side is it on null

Cord is 5.9 (almost 6') The cord is also on the LEFT side of this unit, when you're looking at the front. ALSO, let me say that the front 'grill' does NOT come off (as shown in the images). This has a filter that slides out of the unit and it slides out on the RIGHT side of the unit (when you're looking at the front of the AC). I wanted what was shown in the images, but with the filter removal on the right side, it will work fine for my window.
