Questionhow long is the power cord and what side is it on

- Answer Cord is 5.9 (almost 6') The cord is also on the LEFT side of this unit, when you're looking at the front. ALSO, let me say that the front 'grill' does NOT come off (as shown in the images). This has a filter that slides out of the unit and it slides out on the RIGHT side of the unit (when you're looking at the front of the AC). I wanted what was shown in the images, but with the filter removal on the right side, it will work fine for my window.

- Answer many newer units don't have bottom drains, in fact they are built with the idea in mind that a small amount of water may be in the bottom of the unit, and even can assist in cooling the compressor in some units. They typically drain, only when enough water is there for it to leak out of the lowest holes you see on the thing... seriously.
