• Detergent goes directly into the tub. Dispenser should only be for bleach where indicated. And if you have the attachment for softener on the agitator, that goes there.

• Hello Amb, you would add a measured amount of HE detergent or single-dose laundry packets into the basket. If using Oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric softener crystals, add to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes. We hope this helps.
