• Yes. The sensing was not enough water for my larger load. So I used the manual one and was happy it covered all my clothes by a significant amount.

• MissMaggieMoo, most models with Auto Sensing feature will fill to approximately the fifth row of holes from the top of the basket. In addition, you can set the Water Level knob to the Deep Water Wash setting and the washer will fill to the maximum water level.
