When and where do you put fabric softener in null

Hi Bernie, we would suggest with this Amana - 3.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Top-Loading Washer, During the final rinse, wait until the washer has completed filling, press START/STOP/PAUSE/UNLOCK LID to pause the washer. Lift the lid and add the measured recommended amount of liquid fabric softener. If using Oxi-type boosters, color-safe bleach, or fabric softener crystals, add to the bottom of the washer basket before adding clothes

Since this one doesn't have a dispenser you need to pour it in during the final rinse. You may need to pause it while you do it.

If I am not watching the cycles I add softener in at the beginning. Otherwise, I add it to the rinse.
