• It does not. There is an available part you can order from Amana's part website. You can also use a DowneyBall (that's what I've used and I've not had any problems).

• No. Softner must be added to the tub. I add with detergent then clothes. Then turn on machine. There is slot left front corner inside for bleach (liquid only). I have been impressed...so far.
