• whirlpool is parent company. I think Goodman fits in somewhere. Tried to add link but didn't work. I bought washer & dryer recently. Very pleased.

• A few of the items i looked at, at home depot did look the exact same as whirl pool. However be warned, Amana does not sell the same style replacement parts. I had the glass shatter on an over the range microwave they wanted $180 for the whole door. The microwave was only $200 to begin with, so i just bought another brand.
