So if you have it set to heavy soil, make sure you change it from auto sensing to deep water rinse. Or it will take forever. But also, heavy cycle is so for heavily soiled items. So it will wash longer to account for that. So the Normal cycle is about 35 minutes give or take.

There are also factors that will cause a cycle to run longer, like the soil level, extra rinse, deep water wash cycles and also the load size. These new units use less water and therefore have longer wash cycles. Also the larger the load the longer the cycle as the unit will sense the load size.
