• I would say yes. I have one and will be washing my queen size comforter. I can recommend using the largest water level setting and to wash the comforter alone. This may allow it to fully turn and rotate

• Yes, as long as you distribute the weight properly. For example, don't just bulk it up and through it in; start at one end of the comforter and evenly laying it into the machine slowly.
