• From wall to front of washing machine on mine is 32 inches. But mine is flush on front to dryer because dryer exhaust line was bigger around than old one.

• Hi Nancy, for the washers they would need at least 1-2" from the wall behind it to allow room for the outlet and waterlines. We hope this helps.
