“I just recieved the Amana washer, model # NTW4516FW as a gift. It takes 2 and a half hours to wash a load of clothes. I have tried the deep water option and the auto sensing option...same amount of time for each. Is this normal? Any help appreciated.”

• yes i guess uses less water and electric but dont see why it takes so long to wash

• Fancy, our Washers do rely on sensor technology to determine load size, wash times and spin speeds. A wash cycle can range anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours.There is no way to be precise with these times because options selected, water pressure, and load size all effect cycle time.
