If the delivery person lays the washer on its back side after taking it off the truck, will it harm the washer null

I don’t think so as it’s no electronics or compressor involved. I’ve always been told to not lay the fridge on side never washing machine

No it will not harm the washer. Fear not, they only have to remove the shipping base and that's the only way to do it.
