Q: QuestionI assume that "electronic ignition" means that it does not have pilot lights, and that therefore there should be no gas being emitted by the stove until it is ignited electronically. Are these assumptions correct?

• A:Answer Hello Ghostlay! If power failure occurs, the Amana Range use and care states it can be used by the following instructions. Hope this information helps! In case of prolonged power failure, the surface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise to LITE. After burner lights, turn knob to setting.

Q: QuestionIf this has battery/electric ignition, do You have any 100% electric free (only gas) ranges? Where I live we frequently are without power so I need gas only. Thank you.

Q: Questionthe oven knob has dots and then the degrees. are the dots suppose to mark halfway between the degrees or is it indicating that the dot is the marked temp?
