Q: QuestionI have a Yamaha surround sound system. I put an HDMI cable in the arc spot on the TV and the other was in a HDMI IN port on the back of my Yamaha, but no sound. Am I missing something?

My suggestions are as follows: First, make sure that the HDMI cable you are using is ARC compatible otherwise the audio will not return properly if it is not. Second, you can use the optical port with an optical cable if your surround sound receiver has an available optical In port. Third, you can reach out to Amazon Customer Care while in front of the TV set so they can assist further with your specific troubleshooting needs. • A:Answer Hello Joy, You can try a few things: *Reach out to your cable provider and ask them to provide you with a new cable box that will provide you with an hdmi cord *it's possible you could get the coax cable to work, you would just have to run a channel scan from the Home screen select "inputs" scroll over to "antenna" select "channel scan" this should allow for the tv to find all your provided channels when you change the input to antenna going forward I hope this information helps, have a great day!
