compatibility the 24.99 one is for the 2nd gen firesticks. This one works with all firesticks, firetv cube and most firetvs (Amazon Omni, Toshiba and Insignia are confirmed) has a quick blutooth pairing button and 2 custom command buttons. the one for 49.99 has a headphone jack on the remote. hope this answers your query
