No this remote has no input function it only works with HDMI-CEC to change inputs which unfortunately means you can change it to the FireTV cube but not back, if you set it up correctly it asked you what input your TV was in relation to the FireTV cube this is again for HDMI-CEC if your tv has HDMI-CEC disabled or doesn't support it at all (must be old) it wont change inputs at all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Confused! Its always hard to diagnose a problem like this remotely, but it's possible you need to set up the TV in Equipment Control on your Fire TV Cube. To do that: go to settings, then Equipment Control and Set Up Equipment. This will walk you through the process of setting up your remote to directly control your equipment via the IR blaster. If you are looking to control a Cable Box, make sure that the cable box's HDMI is plugged into the HDMI IN port on your Fire TV Cube. Give those a shot, and if they haven't solved the problem I would reach out to Amazon customer service via the website. Hope that helps though, have a great day!
