“I have a Kindle Fire HD 8 and SILK is a terrible browser. Its slow and even when it finally comes on it says most of the time silk is not working. Does the new Kindle have a better browser???”

• It still has silk but it's faster. I downloaded Google browser on my fire tablet and use that instead.

• Hello Janey, Silk Browser is the default web browser on Fire Tablets. Newer devices have upgraded processing power which offer a faster and more fluid experience when using your Fire Tablet for anything from web browsing to gaming. Hope this helps!
