Very easy to set up. I'm 65 and have set up three of these with no outside help..

It's Very easy you simply plug it in And then download the sonos app on your smartphone go to add a new device and follow the prompts on screen. Boom!

It's pretty easy to set up. You need a wi-fi device - an Apple or Android tablet or phone - you connect to the Alexa produced wi-fi network, and then use the free Amazon Alexa app to complete the set up and link to your free profile. If you don't already have an Amazon account, you create a free one - this stores your profile and the "skills" you want your Alexa device to access (custom sounds, radio stations, commands, etc). If you download the Amazon Alexa app first -- this walks you through all the steps making it even easier.

It is not terribly difficult. It is a little tedious. The requisite is that you have a smartphone that you can install the Amazon Alexa app on and you have to have WiFI at your house. If you have those two things it is reasonably simple. Just be sure to join the "I'm an Echo!" special wi-fi network on your phone before you try to set the Echo up and it should be easy enough from there.

It is very easy to set up. I was concerned about that myself. Just download the app on your phone and follow the steps. It took less than 5 minutes!
