WiFi, a power outlet, and a smart phone. (The phone is optional but really helps with the Alexa App.)

To get Dot 'to work', simply plug it in and download the Alexa App. When you open the app on your smartphone or tablet, you can create your account and connect it to a variety of spaces -- calendar, Amazon, etc. There are many options in the account settings that guide you to setup your own personal Alexa.

Wireless Internet connection. Once you plug it in and your wireless connection is established an orange circle Will spin around once the Internet is connected to it will turn blue
